Abstract
Abstract: The model of IGBT switching transient characteristics was established in accordance with IGBT characteristics. The rule of electromagnetic changes in the IGBT switching process was accurately described. The IGBT model was higher precision. Combined with the requirements of real-time simulation, the method of Model optimization which was Single-cycle delay method and function lookup table method was proposed, giving specific implementation method of optimized algorithms on FPGA. The platform of real-time simulation circuit with FPGA as the core was built. The simulation data was consistent with the actual test data. FPGA-based real-time simulation of IGBT switching characteristics solved the problem that voltage and current dynamic process of IGBT switching transients could not characterize when using conventional processors, and overcame the lack of commercial simulation software that relied heavily on computer, real-time was poor real poor, and could only be applied offline. FPGA-based real-time simulation achieved power electronic device level simulation, as well as the accuracy of real-time simulation was significantly improved.
