Abstract
Abstract: Using encryption and authentication mechanisms can only prevent external attacks, but these mechanisms for internal attacks are invalid in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). On-off attack also belongs to internal attacks, which has more concealment and aggressive, due to its reputation value dynamic changing. By using difference value and trend analysis based on BETA distribution, an effective trust mechanism was proposed to defend On-off attack. Simulation shows that this scheme can defend On-off attack, and be easy to implement.
