Abstract
Abstract: Radar and AIS (Automatic Identification System) are two kinds of important equipment to obtain targets information in marine traffic, but the content and accuracy of both information are different, which can complement for each other in a certain sense. To hand more reliable and precise of the targets information, information fusion is necessary, and targets association decision is the indispensable stage in the whole process. According to multi-sensor information fusion theory and principle of BP neural network, a targets association algorithm of radar and AIS based on BP network was proposed, after the discussion of net structure design, simulation results validate the proposed algorithm's availability and effectiveness by Matlab software application.
