Abstract
Abstract: The power component IGBT is the main heat source in the current-transformer equipment, the heat affects safe operation seriously, so the radiator design is very important. Taking a certain kind of IGBT as an example, the operating power consumption was analyzed and calculated, the design method of the radiator was studied, and the modeling of radiator with software of SolidWorks was designed, which was exported into the finite element analysis software of Ansys, making the thermal simulation combining the reality of IGBT operating environment, and comparing the cooling effect of different radiator configuration. A theory method was provided for the design of the IGBT radiator. An actual experiment in a hardware platform was carried on to confirm the validity of the simulation.
