Abstract
Abstract: The process and method of model-based system engineering (MBSE) and its implementation in highly complex flight control system were clearly introduced. By comparing with traditional design methods, MBSE applied models as baseline instead of documents to handle the complexity of modern systems. The top-down workflow is more capable of ensuring coherence of design process, completeness of requirements verification and system testability. With the simulation of system model, the integrality of design and verification process, system function behavior simulation, implementation of the failure mode, effect analysis (FMEA) and the decreasing of system risk grade are well achieved.
