Abstract
Abstract: By analyzing the root-cause of inconsistency in the battery pack, and the coupling relationship between the internal and external factors of the battery, the multi-objective adaptive equalization control strategy based on SOH (State of Health) is proposed, the equalization of SOH, temperature and SOC can be realized simultaneously. SOH equalization achieves the same degree of lifetime attenuation of each cell in different working conditions, the inconsistency can be improved substantially. SOC equalization and temperature equalization further avoid the expansion of the inconsistency of single battery. The simulation model of balancing circuit is built in Matlab/Simulink for four series cells. Compared with SOC equalization, the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed strategy.
