Abstract
Abstract: Aiming at the problem of low anti-collision grade of the movable guardrail at the opening of the central divding belt of the expressway, a SAm-level concrete movable guardrail and a new connecting device are proposed. Based on the finite element method, the collision model between the vehicle and the guardrail is established, and the collision process is also calculated by LS-DYNA. According to the collision results of different vehicle types, the safety performance of the guardrail is evaluated in terms of cushioning, blocking and guiding performance. The OIV value is less than 12 m/s for small vehicles' collision with the guardrail, and the ORA value is less than 20 g and the vehicle does not drive out of the guide frame. No crossing or straddling occurred and the vehicle does not drive out of the guide frame after collision between the large vehicle and the guardrail.
